OC

Open/Close

Open - a signal that the alarm is disarmed or turned off.

Close - a signal that the alarm is armed or turned on.

SU

Supervisory

A sensory device that monitors abnormal conditions, e.g. high temperature or water leaks.

TR

System Trouble

A signal that indicates that there is a problem with the normal operation of a system.

 

Actual Events

BA, FA, HU or Medical signals is received by the Customer Monitoring Center that an actual event occurred from the customer/authorities.  

FO

Fail to Open

A burglar alarm signal is not disarmed when an Open alarm was scheduled.

FC

Fail to Close

A burglar alarm signal is not armed when a Close alarm  was scheduled.

EO

Early Open

A burglar alarm signal is disarmed earlier than the Open scheduled time.

EC

Early Close

A burglar alarm signal is armed earlier than the Close scheduled time.

LO

Late Open

A burglar alarm signal is disarmed later than Open scheduled time.

LC

Late Close

A burglar alarm signal is armed after the Close scheduled time.

 

Bypass Zone

A user enters a valid code for a zone to not trigger a fire alarm signal.

 

Call Customer

The Customer Monitoring Center contacts the premises or a person from the Contact list. The Dashboard Details will show the name of the contact and time of call.

CA

Cancel Alarm

A user enters a valid code on the keypad after an alarm signal is activated.

CC

Critical Condition

A special type of supervisory service used for monitoring critical areas (chemical leaks, blood banks, medical labs, etc.)

CF

Communications Failure

Potential trouble with a phone line or communication device used by the alarm system.

CL

Close/Armed

A burglar alarm signal is armed for an indicated location or area.

CM

Carbon Monoxide

A signal indicating that Carbon monoxide is detected.

DE

Data Entry

Internal events which display certain types of changes to the account information.

FR

Fail to Restore

A device (heat detector, hold-up button, etc.) has failed to reset or restore as expected.

FT

Fail to Test

An alarm system did not send a test signal to the Customer Monitoring Center as expected.

GT

Guard Tour

A special service to monitor guards patrolling a location.

Supervised Communication Failure

Potential trouble with the high security phone line or communication device used by the alarm system.

Information or status report.

Low Battery

A power problem typically caused by power outages or weak batteries.

An internal reminder signal typically used to mark an account which requires follow-up.
