The Company Announcements panel is a communication tool that is used to broadcast important information to DataSource users from within their company.
JCI does not monitor messages that are posted by your company’s administrator.

The Company Announcements panel is located at the top of the Home Page, directly beneath the global navigation tabs.
Once a message is created, users who are associated with the site (or site levels) will have access to the message.
Example:

If the Southeast Regional Manager adds a message to the Company Announcements panel, his districts (Florida and Georgia) along with their sites will have access to the message.
If Florida (district) creates a message in the Company Announcements panel, only Florida sites and the Southeast Regional Manager will have access to it. Georgia (district) would only see messages that were created from the Georgia sites and by the Southeast Regional Manager.
In summary, when company sites create a message in the Company Announcements panel, the district and region (upper) levels will have access to the message.
